what UK licenses will i need to open my own online store?

hey, i am currently studying IT at college, when i finish i am hoping to start my own online store, selling things like clothes, watches, computer accessories and hopefully video games
just want to know how to register a business, also for VAT and what licenses i will need, also if you could point me in the way of a video games wholesaler/supplier i would be more than grateful.... thanks

No licences required but if you are operating a business from home you will need upgraded insurance and to inform your local council since they may want to change your council tax.

You'll need to see your bank because wholesalers will ask for bank references before opening an account with you. Before you do this you will need a business plan.
