8. Video games teach consequence. Video games, like computer games, operate off an action/reaction principle. Do something, and the game will react. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about consequences, which can be experienced from a gamers or programmer's point of view.
9. Video games will teach dedication, endurance, and patience. No great game can be conquered in a day. In fact, some of the best and most popular games take weeks or months to finish.
