how long would this computer simulation take?
I want to make a game that all the horse racing industry can use. I want to make a 7min horse simulation game that would previous the winner of each horse racing event. I want to program it so that it's very accurate with, weather, last time the horse won and the jockey that riding the horse
how long would it something like this to take?
how long would it take to write? how long would it take to run? what?
somebody familiar with probability could probably whip up something pretty descent pretty quickly.
problem is that the results probably wont be dramatically different than the favorites, since they are determined using similar analysis along with pretty accurate "gut" feelings. You'd end up just reaffirming the favorites.
