Xmas is a very exciting time for nursery and school children; they have heard the terrific stories of St. Nicholas and the reindeers and the special day of the 25th. From the build up, young ones are on toy websites and in toy catalogues searching high and low for the most current video game for them to put at the top of their Xmas list. Ben 10 is a cartoon from the US and is about a kid called Ben who happens upon a spectacularly weird alien wrist watch item that snaps itself onto his wrist and delivers him with outstanding alien powers. With his alien powers, Ben helps others when they are in danger as well as get into some fun mischief with Ben's little cousin Gwen. With the spectacular success of the kids tv show, a full range of outstanding children’s toys have been created, these comprise of figures and tents.
Another beloved seller this Xmas time will be board games, one of the most popular being Monopoly. Loosely based on the economic idea of a company owning everything, Monopoly is a brilliant family board game that is really popular that 750 million people have played it. During its astonishing 100 year lifespan, the board game has seen it move into a website game format, computer game format and even an iPhone application.
